Experience Weekly Fun With Adventures Day Camp!
The Summer Adventures Day Camps are packed with fantastic daily adventures for campers throughout the summer. Our themed weeks include an exciting variety of fun and exploratory activities for each camper. Your Summer Adventures experience will include weekly field trips and swim days, innovative crafts, awesome games and highly trained camp staff - all awaiting your arrival. So get ready for another wild summer full of fun activities and good friends! All field trips are included in the weekly fee. Campers must bring a lunch and two snacks each day. Camp hours are 7:30 am to 5:30 pm.

Camp Locations and Ages
Camp Caldwell:
Location: Caldwell Recreation Center, Caldwell Park
Ages: 6-8
Date/Time: Monday-Friday, 7:30 am to 5:30 pm
Term: June 4-August 17
Fee: $118 per week or $32 per day
Camp Caldwell is a great place for your campers first experience. Our staff is ready to welcome young campers and introduce them to all the fun there is being had in Caldwell Park. Whether we are exploring the River Trail, on a field trip to Lassen Park, or just chillin' at camp, your camper will be making long lasting memories and friendships. Campers at Camp Caldwell are also offered swim lessons at a discount rate through the RAC. See you soon!
Camp Enterprise:
Location: Enterprise Community Room, Enterprise Park
Ages: 6-10
Date/Time: Monday-Friday, 7:30 am to 5:30 pm
Term: June 4-August 17
Fee: $118 per week or $32 per day
Camp Enterprise is the place to be this summer for your 6-10 year old! Enterprise Park itself offers a wide variety of activities without leaving the park. Kids Kingdom, Fantasy fountain, a disc golf course, soccer fields and a hockey rink are all in our backyard, and that is just the beginning. Our staff is already planning activities and games, not to mention weekly swimming and field trips, too...sign up today! Camp Enterprise only swims once a week at the Redding Aquatic Center.
Camp Shasta Lake:
Location: Shasta Lake School
Ages: 6-12
Date/Time: Monday-Friday, 7:30 am to 5:30 pm
Term: June 11-August 3
Fee: $73/week
(subsidized by the City of Shasta Lake. Cosponsored by Gateway Unified Full Speed)
Camp Shasta Lake only swims once a week at the Redding Aquatic Center.
Camp Surge!

6/4-6/8: Wild Wacky Welcome

Welcome to Summer Adventures! This week you will be greeted by the finest camp staff around town! Have you ever played King Elephant or Airplane Bunko? How about a mild version of fear factor? Come on over and check out the wild and wacky activities we have in store for you! We hope to see you for this fun filled week!
6/11-6/15: Community Helpers
Field Trip: Safe Haven Horse Rescue
Has your child ever experienced the joy of giving back to the community? This week's theme we will be talking about what we can do to make our own community a better place. We partnered up with a local facility where our campers will learn how to care for horses that have been abandoned. We will be donating a few hours to help clean stalls, brush and feed horses and other animals. It's a great way to give back to our community! We look forward to seeing you for this great adventurous week!
6/18-6/22: Nature's Amazing Mysteries
Field Trip: Shasta Dam
Why do marshmallows taste better over a campfire than the kitchen stove? How did geese know where to go when they headed south in the autumn? Do you ever wonder about these things and more? Come check out this week's camp as we explore some of nature's amazing mysteries!
6/25-6/29: Summer Fiesta Week
Field Trip: Movies
Ole! Hola! Welcome to the fantastic fiesta week! What could make this week more complete than to have music, Mexican food and crazy bold colors to create a fun fiesta? We will make our own piñata, maracas and learn a new language! Come check us out this week to see what we have in store for you!
7/2-7/6: Rockin' & Rollin'
Field Trip: Shasta Lanes
Are you one cool kat? Come show us your stuff as we go to Shasta Lanes for some bowling fun! Bring us your crazy rock n roll style as we learn new dances, listen to different music and get down with our bad selves!! LETS HAVE SOME FUN!!
7/9-7/13: Party in the USA
Field Trip: Whiskeytown Lake
Do you like to swim? What about having a BBQ and playing crazy water games? Sounds like a party to me! Come help us celebrate this week as we burst into some great games and activities with you! Let's party in the USA!!
7/16-7/20: Game Show Mania
Field Trip: Party ExtraordinAir (located inside Need 2 Speed)
Have you ever seen Let's Make A Deal or Nickelodeon's Double Dare?! Come check out this week's theme as we create new and exciting game show events for you to participate in. Will you be a judge, a contestant or an announcer? Only our camp staff and you will decide your destiny!
7/23-7/27: Pirate Adventures
Field Trip: Gold Panning
Ahoy there Matey! Welcome aboard the mighty Summer Adventures vessel as we set out for an exciting week of pirate fun! Join us as we learn about the scourge of the seas, test pirate myths, and engage in good ol' swashbuckling! Then join us on an adventure to Whiskeytown lake, where we will carry out our own search for gold! Argh!
7/30-8/3: Hippin' & Hoppin' Hawaiian Luau
Field Trip: Whiskeytown Lake
Do you know what coconuts, lei's and hula hoops have in common? Yep!! It's a Hippin' & Hoppin' Luau Week at camp!! Gather your friends, hula skirts, Hawaiian shirts and head on down for some fun in the sun! Come explore new music, new dance moves, some limbo and crazy Hawaiian games. We hope to see you at our party!!
8/6-8/10: Magic, Mystery & More
Field Trip: Magician comes to us
Through sleight of hand, and misdirection learn how to impress your friends and family with the wonders of magic. Then, be amazed as we host a guest magician from the North State that has wowed audiences in Las Vegas and beyond! This will definitely be a magical week!
8/13-8/17: Mad Science
Field Trip: Pizza
Grab your lab coats and goggles! It's time to experiment! Like mad scientists, we will tackle the exciting world of chemical reactions (safely of course!) and learn a number of projects that you can do with everyday items around your own house. Enjoy a trip to Turtle Bay as we explore mind twisting brain teasers!
